A late try from Zeb Taia gave Catalans Dragons a 33-26 win over St Helens in the Super League at Stade Gilbert Brutus this evening.
Adam Swift led the charge for the defending champions in the first half, scoring three tries in 32 minutes to put the visitors ahead.
However, a brace from Benjamin Garcia, as well as an effort from Taia kept the French side in contention, leaving Catalans just two points back at half time.
The hosts took the lead midway through the second half when Morgan Escare sprinted down the sideline before diving over in the corner.
Swift thought that he had done enough to earn the Saints a draw when he scored his fourth try of the evening inside the final 10 minutes, but a late push from Taia secured the points for the Dragons.
The result leaves St Helens third in the table, while Catalans climb up to seventh.
