Francis Cummins made the perfect start to his managerial career on Sunday as Bradford Bulls dismantled West Yorkshire rivals Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in the sides' Super League season-opener.
The Bulls, who have previously won four Super League championships, ran out 40-6 victors at Grattan Stadium.
Michael Platt, Matty Blythe, Adam Sidlow and Jarrod Sammut all scored first-half tries, while Jamie Foster added a hat-trick of conversions to give the Bulls a 22-point lead at the interval.
Foster then added his name to the list of try scorers early in the second period, before Sammut doubled his tally moments later.
Dean Collis scored a consolation try for Wakefield, but the Bulls immediately hit back as Brett Kearney powered over.
