Kevin Brown has insisted that Widnes Vikings are not panicking despite winning just two of their last nine Super League matches.
The Vikings, who take on Wakefield Trinity Wildcats tonight, are holding on to the final playoff spot in the league table despite the recent bad patch of form.
"There is no panic," the 29-year-old full-back is quoted as saying by the Daily Star. "We were never naive enough to think that we wouldn't have a bad patch.
"But it is important how we react now. We are sticking together and pretty confident. From the start of the season we put ourselves in a good spot and we do not want to waste that.
"We think it is an easy fix and we can get back on a good run. But we know the Wakefield game is massive for us."
Brown joined Widnes in 2013 following spells at Wigan Warriors and Huddersfield Giants.
