Bath have completed the signing of Scotland back-row forward David Denton from Edinburgh.
The Zimbabwe-born 25-year-old has joined Bath after Sam Burgess left the Aviva Premiership club to switch back to rugby league and the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
"We've been looking to bolster our back-row for some time now so we're very excited that David is joining us," Bath head coach Mike Ford told the club website.
"He had an excellent World Cup especially in the quarter-final where he managed to outshine one of the best Australian back rows I've seen for a long time.
"He's going to fit in very well with the team and the way we play here."
Bath were close to replacing Burgess with Wales back-rower Taulupe Faletau, but the Welsh Rugby Union dismissed his transfer request.
