Harlequins made it six wins out of six in the Heineken Cup with a narrow 16-9 win over Biarritz Olympique this evening.
Tom Guest's try helped the English side take a lead in the first half, Nick Evans kicking a conversion and penalty to add to Quins' score in and otherwise quiet start to the game.
There were ugly scenes just before the break, resulting in Harlequins' Joe Marler and Wenceslas Lauret both being shown a yellow card, having been involved in a fight on the field.
Dimitri Yachvili helped get Biarritz back into the match after the break, kicking two penalties to leave them four points down heading into the last 15 minutes.
Wet conditions made it tricky for both teams, resulting in few try-scoring opportunities for either side.
Evans kicked another penalty towards the end of the match to give Quins enough of a lead to hang on for the win.
