Shane Williams has claimed that "it wasn't meant to be" following the British and Irish Lions' defeat to the Brumbies.
The Lions suffered a first loss on their tour of Australia on Tuesday thanks to a 14-12 scoreline in Canberra.
"We trained hard, did our homework and had a look at the Brumbies, our calls and moves, but as I said it just wasn't meant to be," Williams told the team's official website. "We were put under immense pressure, as we knew we would be, and it was a good Brumbies side."
The Lions continue their tour on Saturday when they face Australia in the first Test in Brisbane.
