A late penalty has sealed a 19-13 win for Exeter Chiefs over Cardiff Blues in the Heineken Cup.
The visitors took an early lead when Don Armand forced his way over inside the first three minutes.
However, Cardiff got themselves back into contention just before the break with Alex Cuthbert finding the try line on a Blues' counter-attack.
Chances were limited in the second half, as Leigh Halfpenny and Gareth Steenson each added a penalty for their respective sides shortly after the restart, before Steenson clinched the win with a late effort at the posts.
Despite the defeat, Cardiff will still finish second in the pool, giving themselves a place in the Challenge Cup.
