Cardiff Blues have cruised to an emphatic 104-12 win over Rovigo in their European Rugby Challenge Cup match this evening.
The home side needed just seven minutes to open the scoring, with Lloyd Williams bursting over for the first try of the night, opening the floodgates.
Cardiff added a further seven tries before the end of the first half, including two for Richard Smith, while the visitors failed to get off the mark in the opening 40 minutes.
Smith completed his hat-trick shortly after the restart, while Ellis Jenkins and Williams both added their second of the night.
Matteo Maran and Francesco Menon added late consolation efforts for the visitors to get some points on the board, but the Blues finished with 15 tries to complete the win.
