Chris Robshaw is adamant that his England team caused problems for New Zealand, despite losing at Twickenham.
The hosts led 14-11 at the break thanks to a Jonny May score, but the world champions scored two second-half tries to emerge victors.
However, Robshaw believes that the weather conditions may have played a part in the final outcome.
He told Sky Sports News: "The first half we played really well in the right areas. Unfortunately in the second half the conditions came down and we could not get field position.
"I think if you look at the first half we hurt them. Unfortunately we played quite deep in the second half."
"We've got a huge three weeks ahead of us now."
England round off their autumn series with Tests against South Africa, Samoa and Australia.
