World Cup-winning coach Jake White is reportedly interested in taking the England job.
The 48-year-old, who won the 2007 World Cup in charge of South Africa, has been contacted by the Rugby Football Union, according to The Guardian.
However, White is currently contracted to the Brumbies and has vowed to stay with the Australian club until the end of the Super Rugby season in the summer.
Nick Mallett and Stuart Lancaster are thought to be the two other frontrunners for the post.
