Exeter Chiefs have extended their winning streak to seven games in all competitions by beating La Rochelle 36-10 in their third Challenge Cup pool game at the Stade Marcel-Deflandre.
Adam Hughes crossed over on the half-hour mark, with teammate Brett Sturgess scoring Exeter's second three minutes later.
Jean-Pascal Barraque responded for La Rochelle soon after, putting the home side 10 points behind Exeter at half time.
The game slowed down in the second half after an explosive first, with the game's final two tries coming in the last 10 minutes for the visitors as Byron McGuigan and Fetu'u Vainikolo completed the rout.
The win is Exeter's first in France for over three years and puts them top of Pool Two.
