Exeter Chiefs have confirmed that winger Tom James will return to Cardiff Blues at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old, who left the Blues for the Chiefs in summer 2013, has penned a two-year contract with the Welsh club.
James has scored a total of five tries in 28 games for Exeter during his time at Sandy Park.
"I've enjoyed my time at the Chiefs, making not only a lot of good friends, but a lot of memories as well," he told the club's official website. "I can't speak highly enough of the club and how they have helped to improve me as a player.
"Although I'm leaving at the end of the season, I know I still have a big role to play this season with the Chiefs. We're going well in the league and also in the two cups - and I want to make sure I do my best to help them achieve their goals."
Exeter suffered a setback in the Aviva Premiership on Friday night with an 11-18 defeat away to Sale Sharks.
