Glasgow Warriors have beaten Exeter Chiefs 20-16 in today's Heineken Cup Pool Two match.
Exeter took an early 3-0 lead thanks to a Gareth Steenson penalty, but Glasgow soon levelled the match at 3-3 with Ruaridh Jackson's kick.
A run by Tom Johnson then gave the Chiefs a penalty kick which Steenson converted for three points, although the lead was short lived as Jackson once again did the job with his boot after Chris Whitehead had committed an offence.
A period of fouls and kicks followed but Exeter headed into half time 9-6 ahead after Steenson again showed his quality from a penalty kick.
The first try of the afternoon came shortly after the break through Alastair Kellock and the Warriors edged ahead through Jackson's conversion.
Tyrone Holmes's try 10 minutes before the end extended the home side's lead, and although Exeter fought back with a try of their own from David Ewers, Glasgow held on.
