Gloucester Rugby director of rugby Nigel Davies has admitted his relief following Saturday's narrow victory over London Welsh in the Aviva Premiership.
Freddie Burns kicked over a late penalty at the Kingsholm Stadium to give the hosts a 15-14 triumph against the strugglers.
"I am relieved at getting the four points," Davies told Sky Sports News.
"London Welsh made it very difficult for us, which we knew they would. They had a real cause today, and they represented that cause very well.
"Every point at this stage of the season is vitally important. If we can win our next four games we will probably be in the top four."
The win has lifted Gloucester up to fifth place in the Aviva Premiership table.
