Gloucester Rugby director of rugby Nigel Davies has admitted that the club cannot compete with the quality of Harlequins.
The two sides will meet in the Aviva Premiership on Friday, but Davies has insisted that the team have "a heck of a lot of work to do" before facing the third-placed side.
"We've got a heck of a lot of work to do. We're playing one of the best teams in the Premiership," Davies told BBC Sport.
"You have to admire them - we are nowhere near them with our game, so it's a big challenge for us. It's all about challenges and rising to them - that's what we have to do this week."
Gloucester currently sit fifth in the table.
