Tom Savage has called on his Gloucester side to end their dreadful run of form when they face London Wasps at the weekend.

The Cherry and Whites were beaten by local rivals Bath 15-13 on Friday night to mark their fourth defeat in six Aviva Premiership games so far this season.

However, Savage is more than confident that Gloucester can get back to winning ways, starting at Kingsholm on Saturday.

"We're disappointed. The only thing we came down to Bath for was a win but we didn't get it this time," Savage told reporters. "It was a close one but we were heavily disappointed with the result.

"The boys were going to be disappointed in the first couple of days afterwards, both physically and mentally. But the boys will hopefully be going into this week's game fresh and produce a good performance at home against Wasps.

"After the Bath game we sat the boys down and told them that we can't come away from home and have discipline as it was. We gave away too many penalties and that has, effectively, lost us the game. This is certainly not where we want to be after the first six games. We've started poorly but we can turn around."

Gloucester host Wasps on Saturday at Kingsholm.
