Gloucester have bounced back from defeat to beat Northampton Saints 27-24 at Kingsholm this afternoon.
Charlie Sharples crossed over after five minutes to fire Gloucester in front. Freddie Burns then added two, before he and opposite number Ryan Lamb exchanged a handful of penalties prior to the break.
However, Darren Dawidiuk's try ultimately allowed Gloucester to maintain their lead by half time.
Lamb kicked his fourth penalty of the game to reduce the deficit after the restart, but Burns again responded in kind to re-establish the home side's nine-point lead.
Soane Tonga-uiha's try set up substitute Stephen Myler to close the gap to two at the hour. Burns kicked his fourth penalty moments later, only for Northampton's George Pisi to tie the score as he crossed over for a second Saints try.
Even so, Burns added a fifth three to his total in the final ten minutes to seal the win.
