Gloucester have earned themselves a bonus-point victory in the Amlin Challenge Cup with a 25-13 win over Bordeaux Begles at Kingsholm.
Will James scored the opening try of the contest after just six minutes before Billy Twelvetrees made it 10-0 when he got on the end of Jimmy Cowan's kick upfield.
Nicolas Sanchez then kicked over two penalties to get Bordeaux within four points of their hosts, but Charlie Sharples extended Gloucester's lead with another try.
Twelvetrees planted a penalty between the posts with 34 minutes gone and the home side secured a bonus point when Sharples went over following a surging run from Ben Cowan.
Gloucester made sure of a 25-6 lead at the break when Twelvetrees scored his first conversion of the match.
The fly-half had a chance to further his side's lead on the hour but his penalty hit the posts.
