A Shane Monahan hat-trick has led Gloucester Rugby to a 35-30 win over London Irish in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.
The home side made a strong start to the match as Sione Kalamafoni opened the scoring with a first-minute try, while Charlie Sharples also crossed the line with less than 10 minutes played.
Two tries from Marland Yarde got the Exiles back into the match in the first half though, leaving them just five points down at the break.
Gloucester made another quick start after the break, as Monahan added his second try of the afternoon less than a minute after the restart.
However, Yarde completed his hat-trick while Gerard Ellis was also on the scoresheet to give the visitors a slender lead.
Two penalties from Freddie Burns put Gloucester back in front late on, before Monahan completed his hat-trick to seal the victory.
