Harlequins have confirmed that fly-half Tim Swiel will join the club on a permanent deal in the summer.
The 21-year-old moved to Quins for a four-month loan spell back in February from South African side Sharks.
Swiel made 10 appearances for Harlequins during his temporary stay at Twickenham Stoop.
"Tim made a real impact with us on loan earlier in the season and we are delighted that the Sharks have granted him his release to come back to us on a full-time basis," Quins rugby director Conor O'Shea is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "He is a young player with a huge amount of potential and also someone who showed mentally that he is able to cope with anything thrown at him."
Quins currently sit 16 points adrift of the playoff places in the Aviva Premiership table following four defeats in their last five matches.
