Ireland have confirmed that Rob Kearney will play no part in Saturday's Six Nations clash against Scotland due to a hamstring injury.
The 29-year-old was absent for last weekend's 58-15 victory over Italy and after assessment, he has been deemed unfit to play at the Aviva Stadium this weekend.
Simon Zebo is expected to fill in at full-back after he deputised for Kearney in the clash against Italy.
A statement from the Irish Rugby Football Union read: "Rob Kearney's hamstring hasn't recovered sufficiently and he will not be involved in Ireland camp this week."
Munster's Andrew Conway has been called up to act as cover.
