Luke McLean has said that Italy must try to take their victory over Scotland forward, with two home fixtures remaining in this year's Six Nations.
The Azzuri ended a two-year wait for a win in the competition, with a late penalty try handing them a 22-19 win at Murrayfield earlier.
The Australian-born fly-half told BBC Sport: "They've been a couple of tough losses in recent years, so it's great to come out on the right side of a result.
"A win is tough enough, but to win away is a great thing. We've got two matches at home from here on so we'll try to take this forward as much as we can."
Italy host France and Wales in their remaining fixtures.
