Peter Horne has been selected at fly-half for Scotland in place of the suspended Finn Russell for this weekend's Six Nations meeting with Italy.
The Glasgow Warriors player comes into the starting lineup in one of four changes for the showdown at Murrayfield, after Russell had his appeal against a two-week ban rejected earlier this week.
Tommy Seymour, Euan Murray and Tim Swinson replace Tim Visser, Geoff Cross and Richie Gray respectively, meanwhile, as Scotland look to pick up their first win of this year's championship.
Elsewhere, Ben Toolis and Hamish Watson could be handed their first caps, having been selected on the bench.
