Leicester Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill has admitted that his side put in an "average" performance during Saturday's defeat to Gloucester Rugby.
The Tigers were beaten for the third consecutive time this season as they went down 33-16 at Kingsholm Stadium.
Despite seeing his team lose yet again, Cockerill is confident that Leicester can pull themselves out of their current slump.
"We got beaten, we didn't play as well as we could have done or should have done, and you get punished. We did some good things, but in between we did some pretty average things that cost us dearly," he is quoted as saying by ESPN.
"The result is my responsibility. We are going to stick together as a club and work through the issues, and when we come out the other side we will be better for it."
Leicester continue their league campaign on October 10 when they host Harlequins.
