A Marland Yarde hat-trick helped London Irish secure a bonus point in their win over Worcester Warriors in the LV= Cup this afternoon.
Halani Aulika made the most of a strong start by the Exiles, scoring two tries in 15 minutes to put the home side in a good position.
The game was very open at times during the first half, but the visitors were unable to match their opponents on the score board.
Yarde got a third for the hosts just before half time, leaving Irish firmly in control of the match.
Fly-half Danny Gray reduced the deficit for Warriors shortly after the break, but an Alex Gray try minutes later ensured that Irish would secure a bonus point.
David Lemi and James Percival kept Worcester in the game, but two more from Yarde took the home side out of sight.
The win takes Irish above Saracens in pool three.
