Saracens come from behind to retain their lead at the top of the Aviva Premiership thanks to a 22-13 win at London Wasps.

Aviva Premiership leaders Saracens overturned an eight-point deficit to come from behind to beat London Wasps 22-13 at Adams Park.

Chris Wyles and Chris Ashton went over in either half for the visitors to cancel out Christian Wade's opener.

It was the home side who took the initiative as Elliot Daly put a penalty between the posts from the halfway line to give Wasps the lead.

Wasps added to their score just moments later when Wade brilliantly intercepted a pass before racing down the touchline to score the game's opening try, with Stephen Jones successfully converting.

Daly added another fine penalty just three minutes later to give Wasps a 13-0 lead.

However, Wasps were caught napping on the 20-minute mark and Wyles went over in the corner to make it 13-5.

Saracens responded in the 27th minute, as Owen Farrell made amends with a penalty to reduce the deficit to 13-8.

The away side were then dealt a blow when Mouritz Botha was shown a yellow card for a deliberate knock-on just before half time.

It took until the 62nd minute for the score to be altered, but Farrell was on hand after a great line break from Saracens to put them just two points adrift.

The away side finally completed the comeback with 13 minutes to go, after Goode's kick into the corner was touched down by Ashton.

Farrell extended the Sarries lead with 10 minutes to play courtesy of a penalty kick before the hosts were reduced to 14 men, as Sakaria Taulafo was found guilty of an offside penalty.

With two minutes left on the clock, Farrell made sure of the victory by adding another three points.
