Saracens have been beaten for the first time in this season's Heineken Cup as they went down 15-9 at Munster.
Ronan O'Gara kicked over two penalties in the opening 30 minutes for the hosts while Owen Farrell replied with a penalty of his own.
However, Munster led 9-3 at the break thanks to a third O'Gara penalty.
Farrell cut the deficit to just three points early in the second half, but O'Gara added another six points with the boot before the hour to give the Irish side some breathing space.
Sarries set up a nervy finish when Farrell kicked over again late on, only for Munster to hold out for the win.
