Newcastle Falcons director of rugby Dean Richards has hailed the team's young players following their victory over Worcester Warriors.
The side managed to secure a 16-11 win at Sixways Stadium on Saturday, recording their second victory of the campaign.
"I was pleased for a number of reasons," Richards told the club's official website. "I felt we controlled the game for the first half-hour, although we allowed them back into it through our own impatience and ill-discipline just before half-time.
"Some of our younger boys like George McGuigan and Scott Wilson are just getting better and better, and I have been delighted with what we are producing."
Twelve players who have come through the academy played at the weekend.
