Newcastle Falcons director of rugby Dean Richards has urged his players to be more clinical following their opening defeat to Bath in the Aviva Premiership.
The newly-promoted side were beaten 21-0 at Kingston Park on Friday night.
"We got ourselves into the right positions at times but we managed to shoot ourselves in the foot on occasions, but it's something we will take heart from," Richards is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "We just need to be a bit more clinical in what we do."
Newcastle return to action next Friday when they travel to Sale Sharks.
