Bordeaux Begles have beaten the Newport Gwent Dragons 32-13 in tonight's European Challenge Cup encounter.
Bordeaux got the game's first try in the eighth minute through Nicolas Sanchez, who was then able to deliver on the follow-up kick, having had to respond to Jason Tovey's second-minute penalty goal.
Sanchez was in dominant form throughout the first half as he managed to kick four penalty goals to put his side 19-13 up at half time, with the kicks just about edging the solitary try-scoring effort of Dragons man Toby Faletau.
The game moved into a stalemate in the second half as a raft of substitutions were made, but the Begles were able to cement their lead nearing the end of the game when Robert Lilomaiava completed a try.
The French side's score was then pushed to 32 for the night as Jefferson Poirot made sure of their victory in the dying stages.
