Northampton Saints have cruised to a 38-15 win over Treviso to clinch their second win of the European Rugby Champions Cup campaign this afternoon.
The visitors looked the stronger of the two from the start and were ahead less than 10 minutes into the tie when Samu Manoa powered over after a sustained Northampton attack.
Alex Waller extended their lead before the break, but it was a dominant start to the second half that put the win beyond doubt for the Saints, as Ben Foden and Luther Burrell both crossed the line within 10 minutes of the restart.
George Pisi and a penalty try increased Northampton's lead further before full time, while Ludovico Nitoglia and Joe Carlisle both added late consolations for the hosts.
The result keeps Northampton second in Pool Five, while Treviso remain bottom with no wins so far.
