A late try from Ed Slater has earned Leicester Tigers a draw with Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership.
There were few try-scoring chances in the first half, but Stephen Myler was able to kick three penalties, giving the visitors a 9-6 lead over the champions at half time.
Alex Corbisiero crossed the whitewash early in the second half to extend Northampton's lead, but Toby Flood managed to keep the hosts in contention with some accurate kicking.
Both sides were reduced to 14 men with 10 minutes to go, as Courtney Lawes and Louis Deacon were sent to the sin bin. It allowed Slater to find space and give Leicester their first try of the match, levelling the scores in the process.
David Mele tried to steal the win for the Tigers with a late drop goal, but his effort crept wide.
