Northampton Saints have taken a narrow 25-23 win over Bath in a tight game in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.
After a close opening 20 minutes, Jamie Elliott crossed the try line for the home side, helping Saints to an 11-9 lead at the break.
A series of errors from Bath at the start of the second half allowed Stephen Myler to kick another nine points for Northampton.
A strong spell from the visitors saw Bath force a penalty try before Semesa Rokoduguni broke the whitewash to give his side a slender lead.
Bath's advantage was short-lived though, as Elliott added his second of the game just six minutes later.
The win leaves Northampton sixth in the table, while Bath sit seventh.
