London Wasps scored two second-half tries in the space of two minutes to secure a 20-16 win over Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.
Stephen Myler kicked three penalties to give the defending champions the lead early in the second half, after a quiet opening 40 minutes left the teams level at 3-3 at the break.
A quick break by Wasps sent Ashley Johnson over for the opening try of the match with just over 20 minutes to play, while Tom Varndell powered over just two minutes later.
Ben Foden reduced the deficit to just four points late on, diving over in the corner inside the final two minutes to give the visitors some late hope, but they were unable to test the home defence again.
The result moves Wasps up to sixth in the table, while Saints sit fifth.
