Oyonnax Rugby survived a second-half comeback from CA Brive to clinch a 30-22 win in the European Rugby Challenge Cup this evening.
It was the visitors who looked to be taking control early on as Fabien Cibray sprinted over just two minutes in, while two Riann Smit penalties ensured that Oyoannax were ahead at the break.
Louis Acosta found the line before half time to keep Brive in contention, diving over in the corner.
The home side looked stronger in the second half, but Romain Sola missed the chance to kick the team ahead with just over 10 minutes to play, slicing the conversion wide from a Tijuee Uanivi try just wide.
Oyonnax made the most of the mistake, with a quick attacking move setting up Dug Codjo to power over with the visitors' third try of the night, sealing the victory.
The result keeps Oyonnax in contention in Pool Five, while Brive are still looking for their first win of the competition.
