Mihai Macovei has insisted that Romania are full of confidence as they prepare to take on France in their World Cup opener.
France started their tournament by beating Italy at Twickenham on Saturday and head into the game as firm favourites to make it two wins from two Pool D games.
However, Macovei is certain that Romania have the tools to cause a surprise after winning six of their nine matches in 2015.
"Our biggest strength is the unity of the team, this is what is going to help us in the big games," the captain told reporters. "I don't think many teams have that here."
France have won 39 of 49 matches against Romania.
