Sale Sharks fly-half Danny Cipriani has insisted that he is "looking forward" to taking on former side London Wasps this weekend.
The 26-year-old, who is battling to earn a place in England's World Cup squad, is hopeful that he can impress against the club at which he has previously spent six years.
"I just want to have a big game this week," Cipriani is quoted as saying by Premiership Rugby. "Obviously it's good playing against Wasps but they're a strong team and it looks like they could be top-four, top-six contenders this year.
"They have a good kicking game and we have to be aware of that but apart from that it is going to be a man-on-man challenge that we need to make sure we win really.
"It's always good to play against top quality fly halves and [Andy Goode] has been doing it for so long now. He has all the experience and he is still pulling the strings. I'm looking forward to it."
Cipriani joined Sale in 2012 following a spell at Melbourne Rebels.
