Saracens come back from a 10-point deficit to beat Gloucester 28-21 in the Aviva Premiership.

Saracens came from 10 points down in the first half to secure a 28-21 win over Gloucester Rugby in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.

The visitors started the match brightly, but had to settle for a couple of Greig Laidlaw penalties in the opening five minutes.

Gloucester's superior possession eventually gave them the opening try of the match, with Rob Cook diving over in the corner, extending their lead to 10 points.

Saracens quickly got themselves back into the tie though, with Chris Wyles adding a try of his own two minutes later, before Alistair Hodgson put the hosts ahead.

Gloucester kept their defence tight at the start of the second half, leaving the home side to rely on Charlie Hodgson for points, with the fly-half kicking two penalties.

However, Saracens did manage to find the line again before full time, as Chris Ashton sprinted in under the posts to put the result beyond doubt, although Tom Savage cut the lead with the final action of the match for Gloucester.

The result moves Saracens to the top of the table for now, while Gloucester sit fifth.
