Jonny Wilkinson has praised Toulon's "spirit and determination" after the French club reached the final of the Heineken Cup for the first time in their history.
The fly-half kicked all of Toulon's points in their 24-12 win over Aviva Premiership leaders Saracens this afternoon.
The 33-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It was great to come out on top against a team like Saracens, it's a big thing for us.
"It didn't go fantastically well for us and we didn't do some of the things we wanted to do, but it was all about fighting hard until the last minute and hanging on. Spirit and determination got us there."
Toulon will face Clermont Auvergne in the final next month at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
