Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal has denied claims that players of the three-time European champions have been using anabolic steroids.
Prosecutors in Marseille have launched an investigation into several pharmacies in Toulon after receiving notification from France's anti-doping authority.
Reports in France alleged that Toulon players had been supplied with the steroids, but Boudjellal has insisted that the probe is related to social security fraud and one specific pharmacist.
"No player is concerned in this affair, it's totally unfounded information," Boudjellal told reporters.
"This is related to a social security fraud; that concerns the pharmacist, not RCT."
The Top 14 club have won an unprecedented three successive European titles over the past three seasons.
