Six penalties from Luke McAlister handed Toulouse a 23-9 victory over Leicester Tigers on Sunday.
It took until the 14th minute for the score to be opened and it came to the away side as Toby Flood scored a penalty to move his side 3-0 ahead. However, McAlister tied the score at 3-3 with a penalty of his own moments later.
The same combination followed at the halfway point of the opening period as Flood converted from range and McAlister followed to level the match at 6-6 with 30 minutes on the clock.
Flood was again on target with his third penalty five minutes before the break, but Gael Fickou moved Toulouse ahead with a try on the stroke of the interval.
The home side started the second period the stronger and they took a 14-9 lead when McAlister converted from distance to extend their score.
McAlister continued to impress in the second period and he added three penalties in seven minutes to extend the home side's lead to 23-9.
The home side had chances to extend their lead late in the match, but it remained 23-9 with Toulouse taking the points.
