Wales prop Tomas Francis has put his side's victory over Fiji down to the high fitness levels of each player.
Warren Gatland's men beat their Southern Hemisphere opponents 23-13 at the Millennium Stadium, just five days after a gutsy display against England.
Despite the quick turnaround in games, Francis believes that high-intensity training camps in the weeks leading up to the tournament helped get his side over the line in Thursday evening's Cardiff showdown.
"We have put in a lot of work during the build-up and knew that our fitness would tell in the end - it got us over the line," he told Sports Mole. "It was a really close game. We were never too far ahead, but we had confidence in ourselves all the way."
Wales now have a nine-day break before taking on Australia in their final Pool A fixture.
