Worcester Warriors director of rugby Dean Ryan has urged his players to pick up their first win of the season on Sunday when they travel to Gloucester Rugby in the Aviva Premiership.
The Warriors are currently 10 points from safety at the bottom of the table following nine defeats from their first nine games of the campaign.
However, Ryan hopes that his side can give themselves a boost heading into 2014 with a victory at Kingsholm Stadium.
"I would love for this group to get reward for the hard work they have been doing," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "It would be a significant step turning into the New Year with a win.
"We have to make sure we are as strong as we have been in recent weeks and get ourselves across the line."
Ryan spent seven years as a coach at Gloucester before departing the club in 2009.
