Billy Twelvetrees won the battle of the boot against Ignacio Mieres as Gloucester Rugby came out on top 12-6 against neighbours Worcester Warriors in a tryless Aviva Premiership affair this afternoon.
Rockbottom Worcester remain winless this season after a scrappy match at Kingsholm Stadium.
Twelvetrees kicked four penalties to Mieres's two as both halves finished 6-3 in the hosts' favour.
A win for Gloucester sees them leapfrog Newcastle Falcons into ninth place.
