Sale Sharks have recorded a 29-15 win over Worcester Warriors in the Amlin Challenge Cup.
The visitors dominated the first half as heavy rain caused problems for the hosts, allowing Dwayne Peel and Rob Miller to add tries, while a penalty try was also awarded.
Worcester made a strong start to the second half, spending much of the opening 15 minutes inside Sale territory, leading to scores for Alex Groves and Mike Williams, which left the hosts just nine points down.
However, their spell in control ended when the visitors managed to break as Mark Easter forced his way over for the Sharks' third try of the match, sealing the win in the process.
The result leaves Sale unbeaten in this competition this season, while the Warriors continue to look for their first win.
