Andy Murray has admitted that the better man won in his 6-1 7-6 Sony Ericsson Open final defeat to Novak Djokovic in Miami.
The British number one lost out in straight sets to the five-time Grand Slam champion, who retained his title and secure his third Miami Masters.
"In the first set I didn't serve or return well. In the second set I got into more of his service games. The conditions were touch, there were lots of really long points and it was a pretty long match [two hours and 18 minutes]," said Murray.
"Congratulations to Novak - he deserved to win today and has played the best tennis all week. He has played really, really well.
"I practice on this court about three months of year, I love training in Miami, its a great city and I look forward to coming back."
Djokovic follows American duo Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi into the record books as only the third person to win three Miami Masters titles.
