Agnieszka Radwanska has continued her struggles in Asia by getting knocked out of the China Open in the second round.
The Polish pro suffered defeat at the hands of Roberta Vinci, who secured a 6-4 6-4 victory on the hard court.
Radwanska got off to a positive start by going a break up at the first time of asking, but Vinci responded immediately, despite her opponent saving an initial two break points.
Vinci secured another break down the line and was able to serve for the set and take the lead in China.
Both players struggled to keep serve in the early stages of the second set, and while Radwanska looked as though she could produce a comeback following a double break, Vinci struck again with a double break of her own to keep the momentum her way.
Radwanska battled her opponent's serve in the eighth game and managed to create two break points, but Vinci held firm and eventually went on to win the match.
