The All England Lawn Tennis Club has announced that the total prize money at Wimbledon has risen to £26.75m for this year's tournament.
A seven percent increase means that an extra £1.75m is available to the players at SW19 this summer.
The men's and women's singles champions will each receive £1.8m, which represents a seven percent increase (£120,000) on last year.
The 2015 edition of the tournament will be held one week later than usual in order to extend the period after the French Open. The schedule change also accounts for a new ATP grass-court tournament in Stuttgart and additional ATP and WTA events in Nottingham.
