Baltimore Ravens quarter-back Joe Flacco has said that his team did not make life easy for themselves following their close-run victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
The 28-year-old threw three touchdown passes to help John Harburgh's men clinch their second Super Bowl crown in New Orleans, despite the 49ers mounting a comeback from 28-6 down.
"It's unbelievable," said Flacco. "We don't make it easy for ourselves. But that's the way the city of Baltimore is, that's the way we are."
Flacco was named MVP for Super Bowl XLVII.
