Promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that he is keen to stage the IBF featherweight title bout between Lee Selby and champion Evgeny Gradovich in the United Kingdom.
Selby became mandatory challenger for Gradovich's belt after defeating Joel Brunker in October, and after opening talks with the Russian's camp, Hearn has admitted that he wants to bring the world title showdown to these shores rather than travelling to the United States.
Hearn told Matchroom Boxing: "We have already been in touch with Top Rank to make them an offer for a fight in the UK in the spring.
"Either way, I expect to confirm the fight in the next few weeks. We are keen to stage the fight here and I'm very confident that Lee will become the IBF Champion in his next fight."
Selby has won 20 of his 21 professional matches, while Gradovich is unbeaten in 20 outings.
